Frequently Asked Questions
Using Our Herbal Products
How do I use a tincture?
Tinctures are liquid herbal extracts taken by mouth. Shake the bottle gently before each use, then dispense the suggested amount using the dropper. You can take tinctures directly under the tongue (sublingually) for faster absorption, or add them to a small amount of water, juice, or tea. Hold under the tongue for 30–60 seconds before swallowing for best results.
How do I brew herbal tea?
For loose-leaf teas, use 1–2 teaspoons per 8 oz of hot water (not boiling — around 195–205°F is ideal for most herbs). Steep for 5–10 minutes, covered, to retain volatile plant compounds. Strain and enjoy. You may sweeten with raw honey or adjust steeping time to taste.
How do I use a salve?
Apply a small amount of salve to clean, dry skin and massage gently into the affected area. Use as needed. Salves are for external use only — avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Perform a patch test on a small area of skin before first use if you have sensitive skin.
If your salve is too hard, heat a metal spoon in hot water. Dry the spoon and use it to scoop or scrape out the desired amount.
If your salve is too soft, pop it in the fridge for 20 minutes or so.
Dosage Guidance
How much should I take?
Each product includes suggested use instructions on its label. As a general starting point, many adults begin with a lower dose and adjust based on their individual response. We recommend following the label guidance and consulting with a qualified healthcare provider to determine what's right for your body and health goals.
Can I take multiple herbal products together?
Many herbs work beautifully in combination, but interactions are possible — especially if you take prescription medications or have an existing health condition. We always recommend speaking with a knowledgeable herbalist or healthcare provider before combining herbal products.
Safety & Special Considerations
Are your products safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Many herbs are not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. If you are pregnant, nursing, or planning to become pregnant, please consult your midwife, OB-GYN, or a qualified healthcare provider before using any herbal product — including teas, tinctures, and salves.
Are your products safe for children?
Our products are formulated for adult use unless otherwise specified. If you are considering herbal products for a child, please consult a pediatrician or qualified healthcare practitioner first.
Can I use your products if I take prescription medications?
Some herbs may interact with prescription or over-the-counter medications. Please discuss any herbal supplements with your pharmacist or physician before use, particularly if you are managing a chronic health condition.
Do you make any health claims about your products?
Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. They are offered as general wellness support rooted in traditional herbal practice. Please review our FDA Disclaimer for full details.
Ingredients & Sourcing
Where do you source your herbs?
We prioritize quality and transparency in our sourcing. We work with trusted suppliers who provide organically grown or ethically wildcrafted herbs whenever possible. Our goal is to bring you botanicals that are potent, pure, and responsibly harvested.
Our approach is "beyond organic." This means we prioritize regenerative farming practices, natural fertilizer, no chemicals. Just because something is labeled organic, it doesn't mean it's free of chemicals.
Are your products free from artificial additives?
Yes. We do not use artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Each product's full ingredient list is available on its product page. If you have a known allergy or sensitivity, please review the ingredient list carefully before purchasing.
Are your products vegan?
Most of our products are vegan. Our salves may contain beeswax — please check the individual product page for full ingredient details.
Shipping
How long does shipping take?
Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days. Standard domestic shipping generally takes 3–7 business days after fulfillment. Expedited options may be available at checkout. You will receive a tracking number by email once your order ships.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! We offer free standard shipping on all US orders over $75. This threshold is applied automatically at checkout — no code needed.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship to select international destinations. Shipping rates and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your location. Please note that international orders may be subject to customs duties and import taxes, which are the responsibility of the recipient. Some countries do not allow the import of herbal products - such as Australia and New Zealand, therefore we are not able to ship to those locations.
Returns & Satisfaction
What is your return policy?
Because our products are consumable wellness items, we are unable to accept returns of opened products. If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will make it right. We stand behind the quality of everything we make.
What if I'm not satisfied with my purchase?
Your satisfaction matters to us. If you have a concern about your order, please reach out to us directly — we're happy to help find a solution.
